Making a Claim
Please refer to your policy documents for details on how to make a claim. Please notify the claims team as soon as possible of the damage or loss.
What to do in the event of damage or loss
- Report the circumstances as soon as possible.
- If anyone has been injured, prioritise their treatment ahead of other matters.
- Take necessary reasonable steps to mitigate the loss, and protect any damage from deteriorating, but do not commence any repairs until you have received permission to do so as a surveyor may need to inspect the damage prior to repairs commencing.
- Do not admit liability if you have been involved in a collision with a Third Party.
- Theft or malicious damage claims must be reported to the Police and the Crime Number noted.
- If towage or salvage are required, please agree a reasonable fixed price prior to acceptance.
